Glass Mountain Inn

St. Helena, CA

Our investigation at this location was fascinating.  We are saddened to learn that shortly after our visit, the hotel was forced to close.  We look forward to returning once it has opened again.

Upon driving up to the property, we noticed why it is called "Glass Mountain".  This is the ancient and sacred site of many Native American's pilgrimages.  Once here, the Native Indians would chip away obsidian into arrows, blades, and anything sharp.
